Im actually a little shocked that it has not actually come out yet.. I mean this isn’t Kentucky Route Zero bad, but didn’t the Fall part 1 come out like 2 years ago?
Played a few hours w/ GTX780 and was a little disappointed with the performance. Nothing unplayable, but definitely 5-10 frames lower than how most games ran. Also, I hate the pervasive public leaderboards - hoping there's a way to disable that stuff without having to unplug my network adapter every time I launch the game
I've got a GTX780 right now, JC3 pre-ordered, and a GTX980Ti coming in the mail, so looking forward to getting to try it with what I've got now and then see how the quality/performance increases with the new card.
is there a way to get around the atrocious hacking minigame?
For those who haven't discovered this yet: Nick Valentine can hack! Especially if you already enjoy having him as your companion, command him to hack any terminals you run into. I don't know if he can handle ALL difficulties, but the hardest I've had him crack is expert and it works every time.
There were three songs that jumped out at me, but definitely looking for more suggestions. I added: "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" by Cage the Elephant "Dark Night" by The Blasters "Loser" by Beck
Thinking of maybe "Going out West" by Tom Waits as well...
Technical issues aside, I'm feeling really underwhelmed by the game itself. Doesn't seem to look much better than previous batman games on PC, the combat animations seem to have gotten jankier somehow, I'm finding it hard to get invested in the story this time around, and it seems like there's a lot less actual content than Arkham City, with most of it being very menial repetitive tasks, like save 10 firefighters, hack 20 mines, destroy 30 convoys...
