So, here's a question: if I have the license (or whatever) on my PSN account from having downloaded it in the past, and I have a friend who still has the demo on their hard drive, is there any way for me to copy the demo from their drive to mine and then run it using my PSN account?

If Brad managed to keep Destiny from "winning" disappointment of the year, I've lost my faith in GB.

My biggest issue with Apple isn't really Papers, Please. It's the annoying double standard. They are intolerant of most adult content in games and apps, yet completely indifferent to sexual content in movies and music, leaving discretion up to the movie ratings system and an explicit tag for 18+ content.

Like Patrick points out on Bomin in the AM, at least they openly recognize the double standard right at the beginning of their policy. In fact, I kind of love their wording for it.

Apple has already reversed their stance on this, likely due to all the headlines, so you can expect the next update for the game to have the nudity option back in.

What I think is much more telling in this story is that the removal of the pixelated boobs and dongs made the difference of the game's rating going down from 17+ to 12+. Papers, Please is an excellent game, but it is NOT for children, which has got everything to do with the game's theme/content, not some twigs 'n' berries. This is a great case of how messed up our ratings system is in the west, and the archaic conservative values upon which it was based.

The key is in the first sentence: "Steam Early Access is a way to invite customers to get involved with your game as you develop" - it is NOT intended as a means of funding your development. If your game is at the point where development is going to crumble without $X revenue from early access sales, then it's already doomed. They're also right to assert that an Early Access game should be selling the game as it is in this moment, not based on the promise of what it hopes to be. I wish they could standardize the expectation that all reviews of Early Access games are based purely on what they are at time of review, rather than how excited the reviewer is about the direction it's heading. I appreciate that GiantBomb has always been very cautious when it comes to covering games that are still under-development.

Oh, good: now that the game is out, they've decided to beta test - how kind of them.

Sounds exactly like the VGA's, which it seems like Spike has given up on, so... Pepsi is now "Pepsi New"

Somewhat separate from the main topic, I'll say this much: if the giant black bars are indeed a "bad call" on the part of the developers (which seems to be the majority opinion) then it needs to be said that the inclusion of a console command to somewhat fix it, in no way forgives that bad decision. It would be like forgiving Skyrim's plethora of bugs on the basis that Bethesda provided modding tools so that users could fix them at their discretion.

Bad name, terrible narration in the trailer, but the game itself looks like it will be genuinely scary. It's too bad they decided to go the "highschool kids discover Silent Hill" route - could have been much more abstract with their story for better results.
