Everything about smoking pot  was a pretty shit experience for me. I got as confused as I did smoking half a joint as I would eating 14 buttons of dried Peyote. But I'm guessing not everyone gets as wonky and paranoid as I do.

Roy Williams was the best available receiver. Chad Johnson has guaranteed money coming to him; he wasn't going anywhere unless he was willing to forfeit his right to those sums.

"Cowboys are in trouble, trading for Roy Williams was a mistake, draft picks are valueable in the nfl and they need help in defense not offense plus roy hasn't proven himself in the NFL. Plus this is a trade of desperation and panic, so expect them to have a rough 4 weeks."

I don't think the trade was a mistake at all, and I was even surprised that Detroit let it happen. The Cowboys gave up a 1st, 3rd, and 6th round pick in exchange for Roy WIlliams and a 7th. The 6th and 7th round picks are interchangeable. They get a 4th from the Titans due to the Pacman suspension, and they acquired an additional third while trading down in the 08 draft. So, you're giving up a first for a receiver. With Owens turning 35 this year, conventional wisdom says they were going to draft a WR in the 09 draft anyway. They got a 1st round talent (drafted 7th overall) that is NFL ready, doesn't need time to develop, is still relatively young, and made the pro bowl on a shit team. A lot of carry overs are also staying from the 08 draft class. You're left with nine overall draft picks and I seriously doubt more than a couple are going to make the team.
