What do you call it?

Inspired by a conversation with my brother about our childhood and changing terms, I thought I'd bring the question to the Giant Bomb readers.  When I was a kid my parents called all video games Nintendo games.  When we got punished we were told "no playing Nintendo for a week".  Which we tried (ONCE) to use to our advantage and play Genesis.  When we were called out by our parents we pointed out that we weren't playing the Nintendo, but were playing the Genesis.  Yeah....that didn't go over too well.  (Gotta love kid logic)

So, throwing it out to the next generation - do you parents do something like that?  If so, do they say "Nintendo", "X-Box", or "Playstation"?

Or have enough of us former and current gamers from the 70s and 80s become parents that we're sharp enough to know the difference and just say "no video games!"
