Saw Bridge of Spies last night. It was.... pretty good. I'd give it a 3.5/5
A little over-long, some strange pacing issues, but still a really good story and an interesting look at an important aspect of the Cold War (prisoner exchange). I was a little troubled with the lack of story subtlety in a movie about spies, but I forgave it because it did what it was doing really well - just a little obvious in how it went about.
It felt a little weird how patriotic the movie was though. The whole movie was super pro-american, which felt like a weird viewpoint to take in a modern film about the Cold War. Is the USSR still heavily demonized in the USA?
@kawiji: From what I understood from OP's post I think he moved to Ottawa and didn't go to school here. I don't know if you can go to a different school's career services office.
There's not much that I know about just now, but apply literally everywhere for seasonal stuff right now! Can I get any more info on where you are/what your skillset is? Hit me up in a PM if you don't want to share that stuff over the air.
I played a LOT of C&C Renegade in my time back before highschool. Like... probably too much. That game was not as good as it should have been for the amount of hours I played it.
I'm liking this advice. I might look in to picking it up on a sale at some point. The game does interest me, even just from a ludological standpoint, but from the way the duders gushed about it... lets just say my interest is piqued.
I've been looking to pick up a good shooter lately (No, I don't have any interest in Destiny or any MMO anymore really) so hopefully this drops a little over christmas.
