@gabe_b: I agree that the artstyle is nice, but something does look off about it. I don't know if it's just a certain graphics setting, but everything looks low-res. I'm playing it at 1440p but it looks closer to 720p, and I'm not sure why. It's not the low-poly/voxel art style, because those types of art styles can look incredible at high res, but something about this game's graphics is off to me.
@quasiconundrum: The broader sentiment isn't really relevant. This is their list. Trying to guess at the general public's top 10 of the decade would be a disaster, and a ton of people would be unhappy no matter what the results.
@thej6m: The insurrection was not a protest against election results. It was an attempt to toss Democracy out the window and keep their guy in power, and it was led and encouraged by our current President.
It's not remotely comparable to protests against police murdering innocent people.
As much as I have enjoyed watching you guys goof around in this game, I think this whole feature has been the perfect example of everything wrong with this game. It's such a disorganized, chaotic mess of game design choices that are 100% incompatible with one another. This game is often infuriating to play unless you're with a crew who is skilled at the PvP. I'm not sure why Rare has spent so much time and money adding dozens of hours of awesome PvE content to the game, while also designing the game to cater to a**holes and sweaty PvP nerds. Imagine every time you try to do a quest in Skyrim, some nerd with 1300 hours in the game rolls up, wrecks, you, steals all of your stuff, and you have to start completely from scratch.
It actually IS possible to save Mordin during this mission. However, the only way to do that is to kill Wrex in the first game, leaving his violent, vengeful brother, Wreave, in charge of the Krogan. Then you have to destroy the Genophage-cure research that you recover during Mordin's loyalty mission in ME2, which will cause Eve to die during the creation of the final cure in ME3.
If you do all of that, you can convince Mordin that curing the genophage is a bad idea because Wreave is a menace and Eve is no longer alive to keep him in check. So basically, in order to save Mordin you have to be supremely evil. Not worth it probably.
