Despite life doing its best to stop me, I actually "completed" 8 games in 2012. I am not counting iOS games and I'm ignoring the hundreds of MMO hours I lost of course -- but the fact remains that I completed 8 games in 2012 which is a new record for me*. I present these in the order of my enjoyment.
* one of these games I did not beat, but I was almost done when a savegame bug stopped all my progress. FU Darksiders.
Punching fools, breaking bones and walking around like a real bad-ass.
This game hit me like a ton of bricks. Loved it. My best of 2012.

Pooped myself at least two times while playing.
I don't understand the hate for this one -- Ezio is a certified badass and you feel like a god walking in his shoes.
Miss this franchise. A lot.
Old-school shooting that satisfied my need for shooting people in the FACE. My pleasure doubled whenever I went buck-wild with wing-sticks, which fulfilled my lifelong Krull fantasies.
A late game save-bug killed all of my progress -- SO THIS GAME CAN BITE ME.
