after nearly a year of 'early access' and about six months of no real content updates, DF have announced they're going to halt development on it. We're use to developers starting early access, getting a bunch of cash then just ignoring the game/rushing it out the door but I think this is the first time a big-ish developer has done something like this.

Most of the earlier promised content failed to materalise, and whats coming out is a half done, unpolished game and some source code so fans can finish it themselves. Surely something needs to change in the Early Access model? the people who paid £20 for this on release are the ones getting shafted here.
