Normally I'm pretty excited about hockey in general... This year I will be even more of a nervous wreck than I was last year however. Last year wasn't a big deal, as the Philadelphia Flyers snuck into the playoffs with a win over the New York Rangers..   
  

The Canucks have been fucking unstoppable since Christmas. As long as they don't have to face a boring team (like Nashville) or a team that has their number in the playoffs over and over again -coughchicagocough- we'll be fine. 
 
1st seed in the west is clinched, 3 points more for the President's Trophy. Dunno how much I want em to win that, as it's a "curse" in a sense as far as the cup is concerned. Knowing how Vancouver has a history of playoff performances being the complete opposite of how they do in the postseason I won't be convinced that they'll win the cup until they've won it.

I'm more of an NBA Playoffs kinda guy, but I'll probably watch some hockey too. Maybe.

I might watch some here and there, but since the Blues aren't gonna be in it this year, I'll be watching the NBA playoffs more.

 I'm definitely looking forward to the playoffs. My team is the Ducks and well they have been on a tear as of late and have shown, especially recently, the ability to not only win close games, but to come back from a deficit. Plus we have pretty much the hottest player in hockey as of late Corey Perry. Hopefully Hiller is able to play and can regain even some semblance of the goalie he was before the injury. Although that seems really optimistic. Also hope Emery can keep it up in the playoffs as well. Definitely a good chance we will go deep ;) ... well I guess I should say that is if we make the playoffs although that is starting to become a foregone conclusion.

Absolutely. The great thing about the playoffs is that any team that makes it can win the Cup.  I would love to see Ovechkin and the Caps take the Cup after completely changing their style of play to a defense-first mentality.  It all depends on how well their rookie goaltenders can perform.

NHL playoffs are always my fav time of the year. This year's even more exciting considering i'm pretty confident the canucks can actually go all the way this time. But who the fuck am i kidding, they always blow it in the playoffs.

I'll definitely pay attention to it (my buddy and I always have a Stanley Cup wager) but my team isn't in it this year. And before everyone gets started, yes I know the Leafs are bad and haven't won the cup since '67 but you've got to keep hope alive. I bleed blue and white. It will also do my heart some good to see the Flames miss the playoffs.

I got into it last year for some reason, but it's not doing anything for me this year. My grandfather watches it all the time though.

Huge fan of playoff hockey. It's second only to the NCAA basketball tournament as far as playoff excitement/quality goes, in my opinion.  My Pens are a bit too beat up to do much this year, I fear.

Yes. I'm hoping Lundqvist can become a Super Goalie God and push the Rangers through.

After the Flyers loss yesterday, things arn't looking too good going into the playoffs. If the Senators beat Philly, I will personally be mad, and stuff. 

I am now officially excited for the playoffs. Missing Cally is a huge blow, but I can't wait to see how this pans out. Got tickets for game 3 at the Garden and couldn't be happier. The shaving stops now.

I'd love to see the habs up there, but I think they'll lose in 2nd round to whomever they face off with. But whatever they do is a bonus, our bleu line is devastated.

Less so than I would be because the Devils didn't make it to the playoffs, but I'll be watching.

I'm not excited because of how late in the year it is.the usual - leagues dragging their schedules waaaayy over into the next seasonal sport's time frame. We hit 80F here today!

Rooting for the Flyers. They've played really well throughout the season, their lineup is stacked with talent. The cup is theirs to lose.
