The first answers that pop up in my head are A Hat in Time and Yooka Laylee, if she wants her 3D platformer fix. She might also be into Katamari Damacy

I don't think this is any stretch by Nintendo standards, if anything this is perfectly in line with them; their games come out at $60 and will remain that way until the gradual increase in entropy over time causes the heat death of the universe.

I'm not sure who out there has any passion for and/or is willing to spend $60 on a game whose reputation seems to only decrease with time. I thought Skyward Sword was fine at the time, I even enjoyed parts of it, but 10 years later I can't even imagine being in a place where I'd have any inclination to re-engage myself with the riveting conversations with your computer sword or the thrilling combat sequences against a giant furry lima bean with some bad toe fungus, even less pay full price for it. God speed to the people who do have that inclination, but I have a feeling their numbers are relatively few.

I could see this being good for kids now who are Zelda fans but were too young/not-alive when Skyward Sword came out to play it and want to go back and play it for themselves without having to hook up a Wii, but still 60 god-damn dollars for an up-rezzed Wii game is eye-rolling.

Only a couple hours or so in so far, digging it but the performance definitely isn't perfect on Series X. Good spooky atmosphere and visuals that have been slightly undercut by some stilted writing and inconsistent delivery on the voice acting front, though in a way those parts feel a bit endearing, notes of Deadly Premonition though still a far cry from that game's downright absurdity.

The split world parts have been my favorite so far and they've been steadily introducing a few mechanics for puzzle solving therein that have been interesting enough. The effect is cool for sure, hard to say if they can keep it interesting through the whole game at this point.

Game has a languishing pace to it I'll say, even for a moody atmospheric horror game. When the main character runs she looks like a geriatric woman with ankle weights jogging at the high school track.

Guilty is my personal favorite fighting franchise, and BB always went a bit too off the rails with character unique systems you have to learn. GG characters are unique but there are more universal systems that make it relatively easier to get a grasp on.

I think XX Accent Core +R and Revelator are two of the tightest fighting games out there.

@retris: This review makes me extremely skeptical, comparing it to Absolution and bringing up some rough sounding level design.

It doesn't sound quite as dire as Absolution, but it sounds like some of the core problems people have with it are creeping up here.

I'm going to miss Ben a ton, immediately was a fantastic addition to the site when he came on. Shoutout to the big :fish

Can we go full circle and have Ben beat ActRaiser on his real last day? That last one was a practice run

There goes any chance of me buying this through EGS I suppose. Epic gave Hitman 1 away for free at one point though I can't recall if they've ever done so for 2, but in any case the EGS isn't nearly special enough that I'm going to give them a premium to access content through their service.

I also have GAD, and there are definitely times where I feel unable to play online games, which especially sucks since I happen to be into a lot of multiplayer focused games. I always stress around my individual performance and feeling the need to prove myself. I find that remembering that ultimately no one really cares and I just need to do my best and try to enjoy myself helps me jump into online games more often, but it still definitely comes up a lot.
