Very well done. Really excited about this new direction for GB overall.

I'm convinced someone trained a machine learning algorithm using zoomer culture and deployed it on this podcast. This one was tough to listen to. They can't all be winners though.

Cuphead should be higher on this list.

Oh wait it's BEST game.

... no one proposes to reconsider DD being on the list considering Jan shifts the balance toward Yakuza, etc...

Idk why Jason and Jan's opinions are almost ignored while Abby is allowed to drone on about DD and Cuphead for days.

Abby you're such a positive presence on the GB crew. But in the context of these goty discussions, I really hope you reflect on some of the feedback you are receiving and do better next year.

Continuously repeating "it's so good" and "I had so much fun with it" is not the answer. Notice how the others say their peace and are willing to compromise and cut stuff they like. Ben loves battle chef and fighting games and others, but he did not sit there for hours whining about how those games he likes need to be on the list.

This happened over and over again throughout the various categories. One of Abby's games would come into the hot seat, and almost never would she say "I don't think it hangs". Just continuous "IT'S SO GOOD.

I really didn't enjoy some of these discussions this year because of her dismissiveness and blind persistence. You're awesome in normal features/podcasts, but please come correct next year.

Also I wish Jason would fucking speak up and not discount his opinions as he's saying them.
