This situation has really stressed how much a silly video game website means to me and I won't forget that.. Whether it is here at Giant Bomb or somewhere else. @spankingaddict: 100% agree with you.. One of the best atmospheres all year. I had to go back and play the older ones too before Rebirth came out and that was great as well. Also, Soma is the best horror game ever made. Don't @ me.

I think Alex is 100% wrong about PS5 being an overstock or that people will not buy "scalped" consoles.. People are at home full time in most cases and are looking for an escape.. Just look at the second hand "retro" video game market, prices have sky rocketed and the demand is higher than ever. I don't see why this would not translate to a brand new console.

I agree with some in the review but I believe this is a better overall game than DOOM 2016. The mix of precision with the rip and tear really did it for me with adding another layer of challenge over an already solid experience. Many of the enemies do have a strict progression to defeating them which once you know, does take away a lot of the challenge by the end. Still love both but would have to take Eternal over 2016. I love Rorie's justification for building a new pc. Hard drive need to be re-seated or replaced? Better get a new processor and mb. I can relate, just upgraded from skylake to ryzen 3rd gen as well.

Dan, I have been watching you since the game informer days. Specifically, the Ill Bleed playthrough which I thought you made hilarious. We will all miss you sir, good luck and you are a lucky man to get to work in two of your largest passions! Thanks Dan for all the laughs.
