Side stuff was probably the wrong phrase to use, but yes the confidant, job, study stuff is what I am refering to. Certainly didn't finish class and then go home but didn't necessarily know where to start so all I have done is go to the library to study and study at Leblanc. Again only just finished the first dungeon no more than a couple of weeks in game terms but some of the other bits seemed a little overwhelming potentially for a first time player of the series.

Hopefully that ezplains my thoughts a bit more, I looked at a non spoiler guide quickly for day to day choices and didn't even know there was a job system in game until I read that and also they were talking about people I had barely spoken too, if at all! Meant I was thinking oh my god, have I messed up already!

Thanks

Thanks guys, it isn't that I didn't plan to do the side stuff but given how 10 hours in it felt like I hasn't found time to do much I was checking I had not ruined myself! Loving it so far and plan to play around with the social stats stuff, knowledge seems obvious and easy to improve, I assume things like guts and kindness are just coming up from conversations and answers in social situations etc?

Amazing game and the first 10 hours has flown by. I love the story and the style so far which is why I am on easy to just soak that up and feel like a boss in battles hopefully to get that sense of achievement! Being a working adult means I can't grind the hours like I used to.

Hey guys,

I am 10 hours in and just done the first dungeon. I am loving the game so far but wanted to see if it is possible that I skip the side stuff and then get stuck at the end of the game. I am only playing on the easiest setting but all I have done is study in my spare time, not got a job, not really done much confidant stuff etc.

Can I get stuck later on in the game with maybe playing the game wrong as such with not doing all the side stuff etc.

Thanks

Phil

The biggest issue I have with both sides of this ongoing argument is the complete lack of diplomacy. By trying to marginalise the other, both sides make themselves less approachable and less reasonable.

It may not be quite the same thing but I got The Last Of Us of PS3 and thought it was terrible. Picked it up on the PS4 a loved it.

I also got a Vita on release date and then decided to sell it before buying one middle of last year once Sony realised what games should be on the platform.

Alex isn't in it this year, he said on twitter a while ago. He faces the winner for the title in the true main event!

As the owner of both it is hard to recommend getting both. I got the Xbox One first as I was mainly a 360 gamer and a lot of the Xbox One really appealed to me and I was worried about the PS4 controller as the PS3 controller is the worst. I then got a PS4 about a month ago as I want to play my multi-platform as best as possible and currently the PS4 is where that seems to be and I am now left waiting for the next Xbox One exclusive to make me play other than Titanfall.

Both are awesome systems and both are trying to patch and improve on what is not working great but it is hard to justify both.

Thanks for the start guys. The total play time is not really a concern, I will get to spend around an hour or two a day playing and the commute is not coming to an end any time soon so that is fine!

The main concern is just the start of the game. I remember starting playing FF8 and know that with such a long tutorial and learning systems etc I couldn't have started that game just playing 40 minutes at a time. If I need to spend 3 or 4 hours at the start of P4 to get the game going then that would be fine, just don't know if I could spend 7 or 8 hours getting the game started! It seems like P4 is getting the most votes.
