Fighting Games Online: Worst Idea in the History of Mankind

Everytime I hope to get in some real practice, and end up with frustration, then a day or two passes and I think "it'll be better this time," then I go on and I hope to get in some real practice, and end up with frustration, then a day or two passes and I think "it'll be better this time," then I go on and I hope to get in some real practice, and end up with frustration, then a day or two passes and I think "it'll be better this time," then I go on and I hope to get in some real practice, and end up with frustration, then I cry myself to sleep.

Holy shit, I really have no idea how so many people are now getting into the scene because of online (Which I am all for, don't get me wrong), how do these guys have the patience?  They are stronger men than I.

Marvel vs Capcom 2:  The first few rounds are pretty good, some minor lag.  Then around the third or fourth match, things go horribly awry.  Frames if animation just start skipping (I'll be on the ground, then it will immediatly switch to them on the other side of my then in the air), and sometimes it just stays on the Lobby screen the entire time.  Oh, it'll still play, I can hear the character select screen, hear the fight, something responds when I press attacks or assists, but NOTHING I do fixes the problem.  Even after the other guy disconnected it stayed at the Lobby screen with his name.  I had to exit the game from the PS button.

BlazBlu CS: By far the least worst contender of the bunch, although it still is retarded how I drop combos I can always hit at home and in the arcade.

Super Street Fighter IV:  I have the PS3 version and my brother has the 360 version, and I play on both.  That being said the PS3 players seem a little better overall, as in I will fight Ryu who always jumps back at the beginning of the match and throws a hadoken 7 out of 10 times on the PS3 and 9 out of 10 times.  What really bugs me is when it is considerably laggy, Zangief, Hawk, and Honda get considerably harder to fight (not like Honda wasn't already one of the best characters in the game).  It's even worse when someone has turbo and uses it to its full advantage.  I don't mean shotos who use it to press down punch and make QCF and SRK motions, but someone like Honda or Chun-Li and uses turbo to always land handslap links or EX Legs every time in an environment when you can't really do much about it.

KoF XII or TvC: UAS:  Look, do I even need to comment on these?  Just play UAS online and you'll see what I mean.

Arcades, please, come back ;_;
