Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't 3 get stellar reviews too even though in reality it was complete and total shart? I would wait for Angry Joe or our crew here at Giant Bomb guys before we all get swept up in the hype and throw 60 dollars at this.

*sigh* miss the days when I could rent a game instead of either making the choice to drop 60 bucks or wait a year to play it when the price has dropped and the game of the year version is out. Or just not take the chance and not play try the game at all.

I went back to it recently and good lord is it ever the highest production Progress Quest I've ever played. I can't remember one single character's name (apart from J'zargo obviously), the combat is just pausing to blast out all your most powerful attacks, and then pausing to keep healing, and whenever I enchant or craft an item I'm more interested in the highest value ones than the useful or fun ones, cos the game's really just about levelling up and unlocking the next tier. I guess I must've had fun exploring the world before, but once you're familiar with what's possible and what isn't, you can just see straight through everything. It wasn't til I saw the Witcher 2 that I realised the monsters in Skyrim are boring as hell. A spider? A skeleton man? Is this Minecraft? You're allowed to have some fun with this, guys.

Lol while reading that all I could hear was Yahtzees' voice.

A fun Dungeon Crawler Exploration game. But lacks a lot of substance.

No actual Roles to be played.

And by that I mean no Roles that can actually be played and are acknowledged in the game. Not the role that you have to forcibly convince yourself you are playing through your mute actions.

Only one way and one way only to do a quest.

Characters...what characters? Okay that's not fare there are a few memorable talking Dragons.

The rest of NPC's are lifeless and bland and lack any real character and only serve to be information hubs. It doesn't help that the voice actors read their lines like they owe someone a favor.

Next to no acknowledgement of your actions by the world.

I don't think I have to say much about the two main stories.

So again, a fun exploration/Dungeon crawler. but is lacking any real substance beyond that.

Though I would

still love to play a heavily modded version of this game but I’m not about to

drop hundreds of dollars to build a gaming PC at the moment

Not another ancestooorrrrgrrrrrrrr >.<!!!

I was really hoping we were done

with all this Animus business.

They have been building Adam

Sandler up all this time and yet again in the first part of the final conclusion

(because it’s likely they’ll do at least 2 or 3 more none numerical sequels

before assassins creed is done) He’s going to be taking a back seat again so we

can have another obscured history lesson.

I don't really like Desmond but that’s not really so much

his fault as it is the studios for not really doing much with him yet. They

could easily make him a likeable character by giving him a bit more exposure

and depth with a game that focussed on his journey.

And you know, I thought by this point he would say “Screw the

animus I nearly lost my mind in there. Nope! I’m good staying off my back and

doing some killing myself”

Getting pretty sick of this. The beta had me very excited for the game, but delay after delay and vague answers regarding the release date just puts a sour taste in my mouth. It really feels like they don't give a shit about the fans.

It's because they care about their fans that they are delaying it.

People would you rather have an okay game or a great game?
