When I first saw Flower I must admit, I was not the least bit interested. However, for some reason I just had to buy it, and I must say, I'm glad that  I did.  Flower is a great game, and those who haven't bought it yet, should. For only 10 dollars it's great, and those of you who love trophies, it has those too.

It isn't much of an official "game" but it instantly hooks you in.  The graphics are great and the scenery really works well, but the best part is the music.  The music is gentle and soothing.  The music coupled with the sound of the wind is very relaxing.  In all honesty, playing Flower is one of the most relaxing things that I have done in awhile.  I'm sure some people are a little skeptical of the controls seeing as it uses SixAxis, but I can say, the controls are excellent.

Overall the game is great, it's soothing, great looking and the controls work very well.  I say if you have the ten dollars it takes to get this game, you should.  It hooks you in and won't let you go.

I just recently decided to DL Super Stardust HD and I must say, I am not disappointed. Super Stardust HD is a brilliant game, many people call it a rip-off of Geometry Wars, you can call it what you want, but this blows Geometry Wars out of the water.  I love the variety of enemies mixed in with the rocks, ice and gold, and I must say, my favorite part of the game is definitely the music.  I put it on orchestra mode and turned it all the way up, and I can't get enough, it captivates you so much as you destroy everything around you.

I only have one little problem with the game, It's a little difficult.  Many of these types of games are naturally difficult but this one seems a little bit worse. It could just be me, I'm not particularly good at these types of games, but I seem to die a decent amount.  I think the main problem for this is the 5 phases that you go through on each planet.  I always do very well the first 3 phases, I usually don't die once, but then come phases 4 and 5. I always get close to, or at the boss, in the final phase and then I die, and have to start all over again.  I don't mind replaying levels, but it takes 10 to 15 minutes depending on the level to get to phase 5.  I've spent close to an hour before on the same level, even though the level design is awesome and re-playability is there, I get bored playing the same level five times and always dying in the 5th phase.

Despite my few complaints I'm really loving this game, the level design, sound and re-playability keep me enthralled with this game. I'm glad I purchased it and I encourage everyone else to check it out, and if you're thinking about getting it but just aren't sure, I say go ahead and get it, you won't be disappointed.

Okay, I've gotten to the point where, even if a game is absolutely amazing, I'm not going to buy it if it's developed by Square Enix.  I'm a big Final Fantasy fan and a Square Enix fan in general.  I've bought all the ports and remakes of FF that Square has put on the GBA and DS, from FFI and FFII to FFIII.  I was hoping to keep advancing that collection with the recently released FFIV.  It has gotten great reviews and looks amazing, however, if you want to play this redesigned game you have to pay.......40 dollars!!!  Square has been adding 5 dollars extra to their games since I can remember, but now I just can't take it anymore.  40 dollars for a DS game is absolutely ridiculous. Square Enix has a big, BIG superiority complex.  They believe that they are so amazing that you have to pay 5 dollars extra to even touch one of their games and I won't have it anymore.  Seriously, why do they do this.  I mean all their games on the DS are ports anyway, besides some redesign of FFIII and IV they barely put any effort into these games.  It pisses me off and gets very frustrating.  I am dying to play FFIV but there is no chance in hell I am going to pay 40 dollars for it when I can get Call of Duty 4 for that same price, sorry Squeenix, but you guys are douche bags.  Pardon my language.

Gaius's Reviews
If you haven't yet, buy this game. (WII)
The Wii has had great games throughout it’s time. But if you look at those great games, there’s one problem, they’re all first party games. The Wii has become a cesspool for crappy, “casual” third party games that sell many copies and can be made in six months. But amidst ...
