" It's a nice concept that might better be put to use unlocking weapons/gadgets from the ground up so new players joining the party late won't be so left out by comparison to all the high level guys. Unlocking maps is a terrible idea though since that just lowers the possible amount of fun one can have when adopting early, especially since we all know the maps are sitting right fucking there on the hard drive locked off from us. Unlocking maps actually makes me want to play the game LESS and LATER than the rest. The few number of maps has become BF's Achilles heel. Here's hoping there's some form of randomization/proceduralization in the next BF game. "
You understand that you unlock near enough everything within the first 26 levels? They pretty much give you all the weapons at the start instead of dragging it out like CoD does.
