Honerable mentions; Firewatch (if that ending was better it'd be way up there), Trackmania Turbo, Overcooked, Grow Up, FFXV, Watch Dogs 2. I didn't get around to a lot of those but I liked what little I did see.
Certainly didn't expect this one to be on the list, never mind number 1. I mean I've never even played a Hitman game before. Just a great game, thanks to Dan & Brad for convincing me to give it a try.
Another series that I tried for the first time this year. Nowhere near as bad as its reputation, in fact it's pretty good.
Super conflicted on this games ending, lots I liked, like the sword part & the beach house bit. But the way they hand waved away what Sam did really bugs me "We'll talk about it later" AND THEN THEY JUST DON'T. Uhhh. Its amazing how one bad thing can stand out in an otherwise amazing game.
I don't like multiplayer FPS. Just do not enjoy playing them. What I do like however are characters. And that's why Overwatch is this high despite me being only LV 18.
I love the opening & the ending to this game. The puzzles in the middle did drag a bit but the styyyyyyle kept me going. Glad I did.
Another new series I got into this year, after I saw a bit of an LP of this I went back to 999 & VLR. While ZTD isn't as good as 999 It's still great. Although I seem to like the ending a lot more than most. (It totally makes sence!)
I've been waiting for a good new Tetris game to come to PS4 & this PS+ game answered my prayers.
Water-Journey is not as good as regular Journey but if that's the worst thing I can say about it then that means it's preety good.
I like Fifa, sue me. Story mode was a fun new addition if a bit cringey.
I didn't finish this game because it's not a good game as a whole. But Mirrors Edge's style of parkour is still fun.
