Now I know that you gamers are like me, wishing and hoping that Call of Duty: Black Ops will have a zombie mode. But maybe it's better off if it doesn't. Here's my point, and hear me out here.
Now when World at War came out a few years ago, nobody expected zombie mode to be in there. When it showed up, people went crazy and just fell in love with the game. It was the hidden selling point of the game and something to break it off from the traditionality of COD4. Now that MW2 has came out and Black Ops will be soon, maybe Treyarch wants to be original and NOT add a zombie mode. They don't want to be known as only the zombie developer and just have their games on that point. So maybe they are trying to be creative and add another game mode that will surprise us just as nazi zombies did. I know that it is a selling point for most gamers, but hey, change is good
Or maybe, there is commie zombies and this blog was completely pointless.

I played this Sunday for the first time. I was really excited for this game, as i saw that it was shaping up to be a very good GTA killer, but in MMO form. So when I got an invitation I decided to check it out. I was severely disappointed. I mean, yes it is a beta and many things will have to be fixed, but the game was just boring. The quests are constant annoyances as they pop up on top of the screen more times than Slippy asks you to help her. There also isn't much of a mission structure, as they are random and it gives you "rep" for each faction. The driving mechanics were clunky, if you would barely tap the directional keys, you would start swerving off. The gunplay was surprisingly good but there isn't many guns to choose from, even after you are able to unlock more. The bounty system for the criminals plays out nice, but you really shouldn't stay wanted for 2 hours lol. Overall, it feels like they are trying too hard, like they tried to mix GTA and Saints Row to make one awesome supergame. If they incorporated some of their own elements into the game, it might feel better.
That the UMP .45 in every game has fantastic stats to it. But if you have played Counter Strike: Source, like me, the UMP in that game is TERRIBLE and everyone seems to stray away from it. Very weird to see it being a popular weapon.
P.S. Games like MW2 and BF:BC2 have recently been games that make good use of it
