@kovie: Yeah, I'm definitely not using them very healthily right now. Smash came out, and that's actually helping - about 50% of my gaming time right now is being spent socially thanks to Smash coming out. But the other 50% is me replaying Fire Emblem Fates and trying to see every single marriage conversation in the game, which is a pretty deep escapism rabbit hole to be down. I'm kinda sorting out my meds a little right now, so hopefully I'll see some improvement soon, but it's unlikely I'll be feeling any better by the end of my current school semester, even if it all works.
I'll be online to chat with you again soon. Hopefully when the semester ends (in about two weeks) I won't be too anxious about my schoolwork to open my laptop more than once a week.
He was terrible in what I saw, third only to the little pervert kid and Deku as the worst character
Some people really like Bakugo, which I find baffling. He's probably the biggest sore point of the show for me. I haven't totally kept up with the last few episodes so I don't know if anything changes, but he does get a little better as time goes on. He still sucks. And not in the interesting "Vegeta's an evil asshole that's kind of on the good guy side" kinda sucks, Bakugo just flat-out sucks
EDIT: Gee, Todoroki seems OP as fuck. Which lines up with the show, really, but that seems bad for someone who picks... uh... anyone else.
No spoilers, but the last handful of episodes of the last season are preeeeetty vital for the whole not hating Bakugo thing. He is handled much better than I ever expected.
This was great. Space Patrol Luluco was an excellent choice, whoever submitted that clip. Also probably the best bit of that show to sell people on it. I'm personally pretty partial to all the freaking out about "space cheating" but the handcuffs clip is just so immediately hilarious and a perfect example of that show's amazing comedic timing.
Emil's motivation for hating Lloyd being complete bullshit really, really turned me off to the game immediately though. I mean, a lot of people hate Lloyd in the real world, so maybe it didn't bother those people as much, but it's painfully obvious Lloyd wouldn't burn down and murder an entire village for no reason, so following around Emil as he whines about how Lloyd is evil is just the most obnoxious thing.
I'm stoked it's coming to other platforms, too. The more people who can play this game, the better; this is easily one of the best Tales games in the series.
I remember people (maybe it was just the Bombcast crew at the time) not being as hot on this game when it came out as they seemed to be during the preview cycle, but I also remember playing it anyway and really enjoying it. Glad to see I'm not alone on that.
@arbitrarywater: Oh man, I own that game and did not realize it -_- I made it a decent amount of the way through it, too, but it has been a while. I've been meaning to go back to it, I really liked it a lot.
This variation looks terrifying. I applaud you for your courage, Mento.
Also, I started a fresh run of randomizer the other day. It has been close to a week since I've touched it though, which might be long enough to forget what I've already done and what I haven't, so I may just start another fresh one again anyway.
