Thanks for the link. Just logged in and I only have 1.02 showing as updated, however, and update downloaded an hour ago. Do these apply in the background or can I force them?
I have enjoyed it so far. Resogun is a lot of fun and a great show piece for the system. Really am impressed with FIFA. Great pace to the game, great player animations, and that crowd is rad. AC4 is fun (and I did not like the other AC games). Looking forward to the patch for the anti-aliasing more than the extra Ps.
Jury is still out on DCUO. Thought the first level/tutorial was pretty dumb, but want to try some actual missions before I render judgement.
Still have not played: Killzone, Contrast
Did not like the AR games. Not even a fun demo to be honest. Kids liked it though and that is why we have the camera so it is all good.
I tried sharing a video of my first (of hopefully many) goals scored in FIFA in order to show crowd reactions in the replays. However, my only option was to share the entire match up to that point. Is there a way to only share the most recent minute?
And I have to say FIFA has impressed me the most. That team continues to push the game forward every year and the addition of more lifelike crowds is amazing. They even had looks of anticipation before a penalty kick, disappointment and then jubilation after the first shot missed and the rebound went in. To some it may seem dumb, but that adds a lot to the gaming experience.
So I have decided to avoid the inevitable PSN meltdown tonight and download the system update ahead of time. The instructions seem pretty straight forward...
Has anyone updated this way? Does the USB drive need to be clean? I was planning on clearing one so the only folder available is the update folder they describe.
Does anyone know if you can delete the installed info without tampering with your saved data? That would make deleting and coming back to games later easier.
Yes, especially if next gen will be your first exposure to blu-rays. I like netflix as much as the next guy, but their "super amazing HD" can't touch a well made blu- ray.
If you want a big screen, plasma. If your room is filled with windows and light, maybe think LED.
