I have been having slight skipping issues on live streams, which have noticed about a week ago.

It's subtle and intermittent. The stream seems to be skipping back a few hundred milliseconds so the last word spoken on stream repeats. Sometimes it occurs multiple times in a row. Then the stream works fine for several minutes before it starts skipping backwards again.

- I tried the latest Chrome/Firefox

- I use uBlock Origin, but GB is whitelisted

- In Firefox, content blocking is enabled, but again, GB is whitelisted

- I use "High" quality in the player, not auto

- This issue does not occur in VoDs for me

I managed to capture a video of one of those skips, should I send that somewhere? It's just 1MB.

What I also noticed: When such a "skip" occurs, I can seek back in the video and it's still there. Weird.

@jamesjeux007: Finding creative ways around the limitations of an almost 8 year old system is not a "broken feature". They could have communicated it better though.

Just another reason to go digital only. I'm done with discs.

That is just not going to help you here. If there even was a digital version, it would always have the pop-in since you couldn't split it up between the HDD and a USB stick.

@patrickklepek There is probably nothing to fix here. They seem to be simultaneously using DVD+HDD to increase the maximum read speed for textures and models.

If you copy the second disc to the same HDD the first disc is on, you can no longer benefit from that 15MB/s transfer you can get from the DVD.

*edit*: Corrected some typos.
