Yes, this was my first thought when falling in love with PUBG. If the movement/shooting controls were as fluid as MGSV's, that would be incredible. The animation system would have to be drastically updated I would assume, MGSV has some of the best action game animations I've ever played with an amazing balance between Japanese style-detail and Western-style snappiness.

Performance improvements would also go a huge way, of course.

@thefreaking21: I know this doesn't help for your current TV situation, but the app does have Chromecast support.

I also am experiencing the hitching issue, especially when I first start a video. I believe it only works on Auto Quality, and likely happens when the quality shifts.

I have this same problem, it is infuriating. I'm on Win10, Chrome 54.0.2840.99 m.

I'm having the same problem I had in the beta. Every 10 seconds or so, the video will buffer for a half-second, then skip the video ahead about a second. It makes everything borderline unwatchable.

Are you guys using the 'auto' option? Can you try selecting a specific quality? Does that still give you the same skipping problem?

@mrchozo: I've been using the app for years, and I find that pressing back versus having the app quit out works almost all of the time. I usually download vs. stream, however.

@soup_menu "Mobile" quality downloads have not been working recently. Did Giant Bomb change something, perhaps? It appears that the video app links to "600" bitrate whereas the mobile quality for newer videos has "700" for the mobile URLs. Here is an example video: http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/the-jeff-gerstmann-home-game-total-carnage-cyberna/2300-11663/

I am having the same problem for these two videos.

Hey, I'm a premium subscriber, but the app isn't letting m download certain videos (Shenmue ER: Episode 6, GB Playmate: Deus Ex).

You're right. I for some reason couldn't delete the directory despite being able to read/write other areas. After testing with SD card removed I confirmed the issue and simply opted to wipe the whole external card. It's been a while anyways. Thanks!

My Giantbomb app has been constantly crashing since yesterday--happens immediately when I open the app up. Sent you a report via crash handler. Anyone else having this?

Hi @soup_menu, first I feel bad that I didn't preface my complaint by saying I love your app and it really makes engaging with the Giant Bomb content a much better experience. Thanks for the hard work.

I downloaded your beta apk and streaming, downloading, and previously downloaded videos work now!

I then checked with "download to SD card" checked--this worked as well! Thanks again.

Just updated to the most recent Android version. I see all the videos still in the Android / com.giantbomb.unofficial... folder, but they don't show up on the Downloaded Videos tab. The videos are also recognized in "app storage" calculations. I then realized that I couldn't download videos either. I restored a previous backup of the app for now. I assume this has something to do with the improvements to storage. Running a 4.4.4 rom on Galaxy S3 with external SD card. Rom has adjustment for flexible directory writing, I believe.
