I loved AC2. The story, characters and the game world are amongst the best in gaming history but I felt at the time of playing that the combat was poor and that if it had the combat mechanics of Arkham Asylum it would challenge Uncharted 1 as my favourite game of this generation. I put in Brotherhood to play for the first time the other day and for some reason i find myself far less forgiving of the combat this time round. It's not hard at all, you just have to button mash and i don't find it responsive or satisfying at all.
