I was pretty sure Bioware said that *some* guns (the heavy weapons) have limited ammo. Everything else is unlimited, but the overheat mechanic has changed to heat syncs. You don't run out of ammo on the regular guns, but do have to swap out heat syncs.

Anyway, I loved the first game (just played through it again last week), but was forcefully reminded of the game's technical problems (texture pop-in, load times, frame rate drops) and gameplay shortcomings (cookie-cutter side missions). The best praise that I can offer is that despite the numerous flaws and shortcomings, I've still played through the game three times. It looks like ME2 fixes the technical problems, enhances the shooter aspects, and has a more engaging story. I notice that the videos come from the PC version (am I right?) and I'm interested in seeing how the Xbox 360 version looks. ME2 was fine looking (when it finally loaded the textures) but not great. I'm hoping the extra layers of polish shine through. So far it looks like they've licked the more obvious problems. Let's hope that the more minor issues (inventory management, for example) are also fixed.

If everything I'm seeing in the previews is right, ME2 will be fantastic. I've already got it pre-ordered.

All the whining about death streaks is hilarious. A health bonus for 10 seconds? It's only going to be enough time for new players to find some cover. It's not going to grant any significant long-term advantage. Just breathing room. I'll tell you, I know a few people who quit playing because the gap between their skills and those who had played for years was simply too wide. Getting killed three times in a row *is* pretty rare, unless you're a beginner who wanders into the wrong crowd. That's not easy to do. With any hope, the perk only works with low leveled players.

Just because she was his wife doesn't mean she has a say in the use of his likeness. And is it any worse seeing other artists like Johnny Cash? I mean, really: why is this so strange? The guy has been dead for fifteen years. I wonder what the deal with Foo Fighters is, though. Does she have some feud with Dave Grohl? Does Grohl have some say, by any chance, in the use of the Nirvana catalog? Or is she just jealous that Foo Fighters has made Grohl far more popular than when he was with Nirvana, and certainly more popular than her? She is, after all, known more as a druggie who flashes herself naked on stage than for being a musician.

Well, of *course* it looks better on a PC than on the 360. It's been true of just about every game that's come out on both the PC and 360. We're talking a three-year-old console here. And if you prefer mouse and keyboard to the controller, fine. But I'm not sure that's any different for Borderlands than any other FPS on consoles. This article isn't telling us anything we didn't already know. If you've been playing FPS games on a console, you've already considered all this.

As for the trade system: meh. A better system would be nice, but it's nowhere near a deal breaker.
