Help me decide.

Tomorrow, Mega Man 9 becomes available on XBLA! I'm somewhat excited for it but unsure about purchasing it. Earlier this year, I bought the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the GC but was not able, or became distracted on the return of my 360 from repair, to finish the game. So what I'm babbling about is, should I purchase the game even though I haven't beaten the Anniversary Collection?

Also I am looking to see if:
1) Is the difficulty a major turn-off?
2) Is the game a satisfying length considering it is an 8-bit game?
3) Are the levels easy to die in and are the bosses super cheap?
4) Are there any levels with those outrageously annoying disappearing blocks?
5) Is the story (if there is any) more engaging than any of the other past games? In other words, does it make you want to press on to complete the game?

I have seen some reviews about the game, but I wanna see what you guys think. Thanks for reading.

1) The difficulty is hard, but once you make it through the game once, you can do it fairly easily on subsequent runs (I beat it in 45 minutes without dying).
2) It took my like 5 hours to beat it the first time, but read above.

3) It has tough design, but it's all fair in my opinion. Bosses are tough, even with their weaknesses sometimes, but not cheap.
4) Yes there's a level with disappearing blocks, but it's a LOT easier than in Mega Man 2 and 3, as the timing is lengthened a bit and its easier to see the patterns.
5) Story? Lolz.

Also, no, there's absolutely no reason you should have to finish the anniversary collection before play. It's not a continued series or something, you aren't going to gain anything by doing so. So, buy it already!
