pokemon pearl, 2009.
i stole my brothers copy (which he was borrowing from a friend) i deleted his save to make my own. i did not understand the consequences of my actions at that age. the pokemon fashion show was revolutionary for me and the best part of the game. period.

pokemon ruby, 2011.
my brother said he "found" it on a school trip. i highly doubt that. i thoroughly enjoyed the hideouts though. i've revisited this game multiple times in the past.

pokemon black, 2013 or 14.
i believe this is this first pokemon game i acquired on my own accord. i love u N. the return of the fashion show and i enjoyed it 100x more. best pokemon game of all time without a doubt.

pokemon sun, 2016.
freshman year in hs. got it day of release. perfect pokemon game for its entry on the switch. i followed up before the release of the game so the anticipation made the game that much more enjoyable. holds a special place in my heart. i love u hau.

pokemon shield, 2019.
junior or senior year i believe. pokemon follows me into adulthood. i am still enamored by raihan and leon. fell in love with the characters and the land. while i have qualms about the actual... look.... of the game, it still ranks high. there are no misses so far.
