i always figured old ghosts were a thing because it just sounds less spooky when you're making up a haunted house story or whatever to say it was haunted by, like, some guy named Todd who worked at the Dairy Queen.

honestly i am scared of the idea of rockstar being like "this time the protagonist is a woman" just because i am scared of the idea of rockstar writing women or about women because i am scared of rockstar writing anything because rockstar is bad at writing. but the only enjoyment i have had from a rockstar video game is wandering around the detailed worlds avoiding anything and everything the video game actually wants me to do so maybe they shouldn't listen to me.

the only 2021 game mentioned that i've played is Hitman 3 so i have no opinion of my own about most of these games but i feel like Jeff is (mostly) right about Psychonauts 2 and Jess is (mostly) right about Halo Infinite. i watched streams of these games and i lean maybe slightly more towards Psychonauts solely due to the voice acting in that game being really good and there were funny parts. overall though i was happy that Chicory won and that Jason got a game in because even though i don't tend to like Jason Games i always feel bad that Jason Games get discarded into the Jason Game pile.

people saying the intro is noise haven't listened to noise music i have a 50 minute song of exclusively feedback and white noise and glitches and mumbled distorted reverby vocals and it fuckin rules
