I"m not a PC gamer but I would think that would be terrible for them.  Anytime you force gamers to cough up money multiple times, the investment becomes more scrutinized because of its enhanced risk.  Developers and Publishers (the true culprits here) should consider their market's price sensitivity, especially during the current economic situation, before trying to capitalize margin.  A great product does that on its own.

I don't care about the DS.  There, I said it. 

 I used to love Sonic games.  Being a Sega fan, Sonic epitomized Sega's Cool.  I never played Sonic CD but have played some sonic games on Gamecube.  When Sonic started using rails and hoverboards, I was through.   Sonic was dead long before the Wii's Secret Rings killed him.  None the less, Sonic had to take the cake.
