I'm not a very avid reader. It's uncommon for me to go to the library if I don't have to for academic reasons, and it's even more uncommon for me to actually spend my own money on a book. But every once in a while a book grabs my attention and I'll shell out some moolah to have the privilege to read it. Mass Effect was one of my favorite games of 2007, and one of the things that really made me enjoy it was the immersive universe filled with tons of detail and back-story. I'll leap at any chance to learn more about the Mass Effect universe. And thus I ordered Mass Effect: Ascension. I'm not too far into it yet, but the first novel was great, and I expect this one to be no different.
