WoW has spent over 6 hours downloading/installing the patch (it's STILL not done, at 83% of install).  I'm gonna call that "impressive".

I plan on letting mine update overnight. I stopped it earlier at about 65%. I haven't played in a while, so I probably wasn't up to date anyway, but mine says the patch is about 5GB. That's pretty damn big for a patch.

Yeah, I started at 6pm, and it's now 4am (and I'm on the last part).  After the mega-patch installs, then another patch downloads that is around 900mb.

Ive been playing it all day and ,lets just say they kinda simplified everything to the extremes of cutting the talent trees down to 31 points and locking you in them until you finish. It's not even the same game anymore.

I was under the impression they were trying to convert stats as fairly as possible. I probably won't be playing until Cataclysm actually hits, so I guess the current gear doesn't concern me much anyway, to be honest. "
