I do miss the days of just Ryan, Jeff, Brad, Vinny and Drew, but I like Dan, he's funny. And we still get Vinny videos, so things are still good enough for me to stick around. I miss the original Giant Bomb sports team of Jeff and Vinny though. And the original Bombcasts with the original four. I could take or leave Patrick.
This is the right way to do this stuff, so I don't have to read it/watch it. Question of the Week was always a disaster, showcasing the worst kind of people in the segment of the populace with which I identify myself. Now, if I come across something stupid, it's my own damn fault. I still love Mondays, even if the Bomb doesn't.
I hate my job, but I do it because I need it. It confuses me to no end to read how much someone supposedly loves their job, and works with their best friends, and they leave it. If I was in a stable position like that, I'd keep that shit forever. Good luck doing whatever you want to do, I guess. Something involving minority advancement in games? Something not to do with games? I don't know. I enjoyed you here because you had news connections and scooped scoops often before and better than others... but I'm staying here.
I don't know why they're bothering with properties like Jurassic Park when things like Doctor Who suit the LEGO format a lot more. No one currently has the construction set license for Doctor Who.
Because outside of the UK Lego age kids don't care about Doctor Who.
No, it's a huge show these days. The show is very successful internationally (and is growing quickly).
Yes it is, but not with kids. It's successful because of teenagers and adults.
Maybe in Europe? No on talks about Dr. Who here.
Lots of people poo-pooing the second film as well. I'm with Patty here. It's no original film, but it's not that bad, has some funny moments, two t-rexs, and holds up. The third is beyond saving, and to me, (I hope I'm not crazy, and it has something to do with the budget being less, or animatronics not being used) the dinosaurs look less real in the third movie than the first.
Having said all this, I wish we could get a real Jurassic Park game and not some family friendly Lego version of it. There's yet to be a good modern game with dinosaurs in it at all (one of the twenty players of one of those online only Steam shooters may disagree).
