My favorite anime openings and endings, week one.

I decided that I'll post some of my favorite anime openings and endings every week starting now. Why am I doing this? Because I"m bored and why not share these awesome openings and endings? I'm gonna start this off with the opening and ending to Angel Beats.
 
Opening: My Soul, Your Beats.
     
 

         
 
Although it may not have the best video, I really enjoy the Piano in the music.
 
Ending: Brave Song.
 
 
   
  This doesn't have much to offer on the video side of things, but it's a nice calm and relaxing song nonetheless.
 
I hope you enjoyed this inagural edition of my favorite openings and endings from anime. Come back next week for my next choice.

  In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen (Afterlife Battlefront), rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi (Angel), the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers.
 
It's definitely one of my favorite anime that I've seen this year.

I misunderstood you:-P i thought you were talking about actual endings and beginnings, not the intro/ending movies.
 
now let me see which are mine ....  OH i have one, two actually:
Intros: 
I really can't decide on which of these i like the most, so I'm posting both
Valkyria chronicles (anime):  opening 1

  
and second: DURARARA!!!  (still find the fact that they have 3 "!"s in the title funneh) opening 1
 
 
  this one is awesome because it's got great music, as well as great "cinematography" (if you can call it that).
 
Endings:  Got two here also. though the first one is my Fave
 
(sadly i couldn't find the ending vid, which makes it even better I swear!, but the audio will have to suffice) 
valkyria chronicles (anime): Ending1
 
  
lastly I have one that i can't stop listening to when it comes on, though it's strangly mellow, not something i listen to regularly. 
 
Fate stay night: Ending 1
  
  I urge you to listen to this one more than once, it's one of the best mellow endings I've ever heard.

@tiwi:  There's no way I'd post the actual endings to anything ever. I hat getting spoiled as much as the next guy.
 
The Valkyria Chronicles Opening is pretty good and I can see how you could like it. It'd probably grow on me if I watched the show.
 
I really enjoy the music in the DURARARA!!!  opening. I really dig the rhythm
 
The Valkyria Chronicles ending is weird, but in a good way. it has a cool electronic kind of voice going with it which makes it interesting.
 
You are right to say that the  Fate stay night ending is very mellow. The music goes well with the very simple video and definitely fits the setting.

awesome I like valkyria chonicle's music in the game better than the anime songs though.
but the Durarara op and Fate/stay night was good

Angel Beats! is one of my favorite shows from this year as well. The soundtracks are amazing! (including the GirlDeMo one) 
The was something about the intro to the Angel Beats intro that had me watching it till the end. 
Something about Kanade playing the Piano just kept me hooked. 
 
Also, Ichiban no Takaramono is the greatest song ever in that series. You may remember it from Episode 10, or the ending credits on the last episode. 
That song has a huge effect on me. Especially the Yui version. 
 
And the opening for Clannad After Story is simply so beautiful and well put-together, I had to give it a mention.

It got hard to watch after episode 18 though. Hell, any mention of Nagisa or Ushio after episode 18 had me in tears.
