Top Games of 2015

  • It has superb art, the best VO cast and performance of any game this year and is filled with my favorite sequences and music from games all year.

I find it depressingly hypocritical how ardently some people want to defend their favorite "walking simulator" but are so ready to abandon Telltale’s style of games. It might not be a whole lot more than a barely interactive movie, but so are A LOT of the games hitting top 10 lists this year.

  • League of Explorer's was a superb addition to the game, while The Grand Tournament made some missteps I just can't help but keep coming back to this game again and again.

  • Started playing this with my friends and while I'm not sure they will ever make the jump from playing against AI to playing against real human beings I have really been enjoying the accessibility of this MOBA.

  • I bought the Fallout 3 special edition with the lunchbox, but could not bring myself to play the game because the environments were so drab and depressing. I was pleased to find that they livened things up a bit and I'm not just looking at shale through a greenish filter.

  • Equal parts infuriating and rewarding, every time I play I feel that I get a little bit better and these guys deserve recognition for properly supporting their game.

  • Just a really solid Batman game

  • My feelings are fairly mixed on this one, it's a one trick pony but I cannot deny that I was engrossed in it while I played it. If it had been a game worthy of the notes I had furiously scrawled while playing it, this would be my GOTY. However, you are least satisfied with this game by the end, basically, this is the LOST of video games.

  • Just an all-around solid AC game.

  • Act 2 - Fairly enjoyable, with a great VO cast, gamer comfort food.

  • Episode 1; Amazing production values and voicework help to overcome some fairly repetitive world travel.
