What I have read about this makes me happy. It seems to be the last Worms on Xbox, just on PC with a lot of extras. Weapons spanning the entire series is also neat. The inclusion of hats will make this game everyones favorite worm-themed hat simulator, and the map creator looks good. 
 
But the best part of it all is how active the devs seem to be at the Steam forums. They have answered a lot of questions, said that they will support the game for a long time, add things people want after playing it for a time etc. 
 
And hey, it's a 2D Worms game for the PC. How can it go wrong!

Independent studio Team 17 has announced the return of the game they are mostly known for, Worms. This new game is titled Worms: Reloaded (So we can expect worms that can fly who have long black trench coats and the whole game having a green-ish tint to it), and it will be available on Steam on August 26. 

Worms: Reloaded is going back to its roots it having a 2D look to it, classic and loved weapons will also see a return in this game such as, Armageddon, Donkeys, Napalm Strike and the Hallelujah Bomb (Holy hand grenade). If you though it stops there you are wrong, the game will feature 14 brand new weapons most notably a Worship and something called Buffalo of Lies. The game will ship with over 60 single-player missions, online mayhem, item purchases (hats, landscape and a easy “draw on the screen to make a map” map creator. 

The game will be priced at $19.99, however early bird will get a 10% discount and a 24-hour early access with exclusive in-game items,
