Will probably give this one a miss.

To date I've played at least one part of each (english version) series of pokemon games (so for example I played Sapphire out of that and Ruby), I even bought and played (well I'm about quarter of the way through and I'm bored of it) heartgold recently. The thing I've noticed, along with everyone else (or most people - most normal people), is that nothing much really changes, at least not for the better. Sure we get a thousand (maybe a bit of an exaggeration) new funny looking animal things to catch and fight with (and a different GUI), but gameplay and all that remains the same. Now I know it's probably just that I've moved out of the target demographic for the game and they aren't really still trying to appeal to me, and I accept that, but I think it'll just mean that I'm not gonna bother to buy either of these two games upon their release. Unless of course I find out there's some uber amazing new thingy that does something cool (can't think of what that would be so that's the description you're getting) Nintendo probably won't be getting my $90NZD this time around. Back in the day I thought I would never be too old for Pokemon (for reference I'm 21), but it seems that it has happened and to be honest I'm not really too bothered. If they released a game where the fighting was free and perhaps Super Smash bros. style then I think I would be in, but until then I think I'm out.

That's my story about Pokemon Black / White.

Iron Man 2

SO! Just got back from Iron Man 2, my judgement: AMAZING!

This being the sequel to the first (Captain Obvious perhaps?), it had a fair amount to live up to, which it most definitely did. For reference, my personal rating for the first movie is 9.5, the only thing keeping it (still the original movie) from a perfect 10 being the slightly disappointing end boss fight which was short and not quite as awesome as it perhaps could have been.
Onto Iron Man 2 - I will first reiterate: AMAZING! Obviously it wasn't perfect with a few scenes letting it down a little. Things moved a little slowly in the first half of the movie, the second half however has a good bit more pace to it and satisfied what I desired to see from a sequel. Character progression is good and the introduction of new fantastical science works its way into the story well. Without wanting to give too much away about the story, Tony faces enemies both in a 1 on 1 sense, and a corporate/political sense and these work well to give a better sense of who not to like and why to not like them than perhaps there even was in the first movie where there wasn't really a single obvious nemesis for a lot of its duration.
Overall the movie is a fine example of what superhero movies can be like when they're done well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One cool thing which most people would have seen is his cool briefcase suit which he can get into anywhere on the fly. I believe that he has this in the comics and so is a good bit of fan service, as well being a generally cool thing to have at all :) Also War Machine being in the movie is cool. I highly recommend it as being worth a watch on the big screen :)
