Actually he isn't just citing. He is directly suggesting we go to GameSpot to learn more about this information instead of giving it to us here.

" On the bombcast issue... Who cares? If you don't sub, you'll get it a little bit later. You aren't losing out on content, you're just not getting it quite as soon. If you were straight up not going to be able to listen to half the show, I could understand. As it is, deal. They have their reasons and since it isn't affecting you in the long haul it's really nothing to get so upset about. "
So you would be perfectly fine if you had to wait a week to get the second half of a video game? Or wait a week to get the second half of a song? Or wait a week to get the second half of a news story? Or wait a week to get the second half of a book?  The reasoning behind doing this is pointless, and is simply there to get more subscribers, and it's a dirty move. "
That's not really the same thing. While this isn't a perfect analogy either, think of it like this: The first hour is the demo. The second hour is the full game. Demos are free, the full game costs money. Except this is better than that, because you still get the 2nd hour free. You just get it a week later. It's not paying for a song and only getting half of it. It's not buying a game and getting half a game. It's not buying anything, and getting it all for free, albeit slightly later than people who shoe out the dough.

EDIT: Also, I'd like to say that none of the features I get as a paid member appeal to me that much. I could do without them and wouldn't really care a substantial amount. The reason I subscribed is because These are my favorite journalists in the business. They kick the shit out of blogs like Joystiq or Kotaku, and they are the people who made me go to Gamespot (during those sweet, sweet golden years). Most sites are too impersonal, bloated, and really can't match the quality that is put out by the Giant Bomb crew. I subscribed because I feel an obligation to support the people that give me hours of entertainment without asking a penny. They still aren't really requesting my money, they've simply given me a cool way to give it to them if I want to. And I do want to. If I spend a significant chunk of my life enjoying content you put out, you deserve some change out of my pocket.

And when it's even cheaper than a yearly sub to Xbox Live, how can I really refuse?

What sort of DLC would they even make for a game like Final Fantasy XIII? It's such a linear game, it's not like putting out DLC for Mass Effect 2. I can't think of anything they could do that would make me want to launch FFXIII again.

We only need one. The other one at http://www.giantbomb.com/isaac-kleiner/94-641/ is further along, so this page should be the one to go.
