And no I'm not saying PC is a better than consoles. Its just that PC is a better platform for FPS games, where as Halo (along with other console shooters) are baby's first FPS.

Hey, I don't hate consoles. I just hate those who shit on PC games due to their fanboyish love of their consoles.

Their videos are about as thought provoking as a Nick Jr. cartoon. Its nothing more than just naive and overly idealistic crap on how gaming can be an "artform". But its just a bunch of hipsters rambling about a bunch of inane crap that no one gives a crap about. They are also very mainstream, that they are comprised of nothing but call of duty fanboys.

I can't take anything from these guys seriously after watching that vid. Battlefield a COD clone? LOLOLOLOLOL! The ExtraCreditz guys are a bunch of consolefags in disguise.

The demo has received mixed reception. Some people really enjoyed it and found it to be promising sign of ME3 living up to fans expectations. Others have already made youtube vids that sole purpose is to bash the game.

What did you think of it?

I thought it pretty good and the only real issue I had with it were the cheesy scenes with the kid. So I side with the latter.

I hope this VN is good, because I remember hearing similar things about Clannad a while back. I did not hate Clannad but I did not find it to be very good either.

Amateurishly written: perhaps at times, and yes, there are moments (specifically when speaking with the comic relief character) that internet memes come into play. You're also dealing with end of high school age teens in this story, so take that as you will. However, I think that strength of some of the writing and the themes it deals with overcome its few shortcomings.

Whether it's something you should try is something I can't answer though. It's free and going through one girl's path isn't going to take up a whole lot of your time, so I would say to give it a try.

I might, but I hope this VN is good. It won't be the first VN I've played, because I've tried out Clannaed after hearing a lot about it a while back. I couldn't get into the game, and found it to be way too cutesy for my taste.
