Am I the only person who doesn't like ExtraCreditz?

Their videos are about as thought provoking as a Nick Jr. cartoon. Its nothing more than just naive and overly idealistic crap on how gaming can be an "artform". But its just a bunch of hipsters rambling about a bunch of inane crap that no one gives a crap about. They are also very mainstream, that they are comprised of nothing but call of duty fanboys.

I can't take anything from these guys seriously after watching that vid. Battlefield a COD clone? LOLOLOLOLOL! The ExtraCreditz guys are a bunch of consolefags in disguise.

I think you could have used better wording for a more intelligent discussion starter (as someone else said, and I agree, the moment you use words like "consolefags" and "pretentious hipsters" you invalidate your points and start looking like a troll- i also find these terms offensive); however, I don't like extracreditz either.  
That being said, this doesn't make their opinions invalid. They are just not opinions I agree with.

They have a few great episodes. After the move to Penny Arcade, I definitely stopped watching. Not for any particularly good reason, either, as that's a way better website and way better video player.

Despite the crappy internet words you use (consolefags? Really?), anyone that says Battlefield is just another CoD clone is either trying to start an argument on purpose or they're just trying to gain a bad reputation. People that don't understand that Battlefield and Call of Duty are two separate, besides them being in the same genre, do not deserve any attention at all.

I can see why someone would think Extra Credits is pretentious and overly optimistic, but optimism isn't bad. If you want cynicism and bad news, go to just about any other video game website (even GB has its moments).

Extra Credits is pretty great. I don't watch every episode anymore but I check it each week to see if the topic sounds interesting. This week they have started something that interests me: Western and Japanese RPGs.
 
Also, it's not spelled with a "z" at the end of it anywhere but there YouTube channel username, for what I assume was the name was taken when they went to make the channel. Even in the video it has it spelled with an "s".

IDK what Extra creditz is. Also, why is the OP using the word "fag"?

Who said I liked it? I played it, it's an ok game, flashy with a somewhat convoluded and cheesey story, wrapped around some mediocre characters.

And yepp, I spelled it wrong. Is semantics really going to disprove my point? I highly doubt that.
