No thanks. Wasn't account hacking a prob in D2 as well? I couldn't even imagine how I'd feel after playing 1000 hours or so. Again, no thanks. I will stick to single/multi-player games like Borderlands where I can play offline and get tons of loot or just play with my friends.

It bums me out for sure. I really like the game. It has many shortcomings though and most gamers want the complete package plus more. I can't blame them. Mix an unfinished game(BW's fault) with a terrible community(not BW's fault) and you get mass exodus.

I find it more odd that people are OK with lag spikes in a single player game in this thread. A game company will never get money from me if I can experience lag spikes in a single player game. That is poor design.

If anything, game makers are all trending towards digital only distribution which means PC is friendlier than ever. I wish Valve would make a service like OnLive, but run it fantastically like only Valve can. That way I can play my games on anything I want and they can run the hardware remotely meaning, I pay a fee and they keep the hardware current.

Sweet! A single player RPG with a multi-player component and a $15 a month sub! Sign me up. Those crazy folks at ArenaNet almost got my money for an open world MMO that was box-price only. They already got my money for Guild Wars 1 which was box-price only and no sub and you could play it solo or with friends. I am starting to think that most game companies ...

I hate to say it cuz i like rich and ben and schilling, but that game should have been AMAZING with the stable of talent they had working on it. That game wasn't amazing and that is why it had mediocre sales.

I am thinking it will come on Memorial Day weekend and they will give us all 3 days to play it. In America, Mem. Day is the 28th of May. I truly believe we won't get a beta this month though. I think we will get it in June.

why are people bummed about this if they didn't like the game? it's all fine and good if you really enjoyed the game, but you shouldn't stay in business if you can't make a good game. with the pedigree of talent that studio had that game should have been AMAZING and you know what? It wasn't amazing. Not even close.
