I don't know why the developer size has any place in a review.
I think it can add to the narrative. Clerks wouldn't be Clerks without Kevin Smith's shoestring story. Reservoir Dogs wouldn't be Reservoir Dogs without Tarantino and his baggage. Of course, the actual content itself needs to be good, but I think the added texture of budget, production, and honestly, marketing, often needs to be considered in a review.
@turboman: Ideally, the GiantBomb video name, in a similar way to those Best of/Top 100 shows that sometimes air on TV. I've been watching them on the PS4 YouTube app with my girlfriend, and she mentioned the idea as you can't (I don't believe) access video description/notes on the big screen apps like that.
No worries if you can't though -- just an idea! Thanks for getting back to me.
Absolutely love these. Due to the long and unprofessional format of GB videos, some really incredible jokes and bits can get lost in the mix. These videos are the perfect way to tighten up some of that stuff, and man, just get you in a laughing mood. When watching via YouTube on a big screen though, I wonder if there are any plans to add the Video Title to the actual video? I understand doing so will break consistency, but...
I mean, I kind of enjoyed Survivor Series, but I think there's a real fundamental problem in the way they do tournaments that make the whole thing very hard to engage with. With Roman Reigns, it's funny that they're clearly telling this Daniel Bryan-esque story that no-one - just no-one at all - really cares about. At a certain point, I feel like they're going to give him one near-loss to many and will have lost his main event status forever. Survivor Series seems to be a placeholder event* now though, so whatever. Business should (hopefully) start to pick up in January.
