@djhicks1: That's pretty intense travelling! To me your question is an odd one really. You can enjoy games from the whole world at home, sure you might be a super fan of X dev and want to visit but my advice for all those countries in just that amount of time is see the sights! Absorb the culture as much as you can and go to places that in 30 years you will still remember. If you're still super keen on doing somthing based on games why not visit places from games and experience it for yourself, I guarantee a replay of assassins creed brotherhood will be awesome after visiting Rome yourself.

I just can't see how they can go back to any resemblance of 'normality' in the prison after season 4!

It's not the same with the archive! Cheers for the tips! Not that it matters though, just got hit with a bullshit project at work so I'll be arriving home just in time for Sony to start! Would be during bloody E3 week!

Duders,

I need advice! Last night was a disaster. I'm in the UK and had my alarm set for the 2.30am Bethesda conference, but I was gone! I loaded up the stream, instantly fell asleep again and woke up half way through dishonoured 2, confused and with a hell of a pain in my neck!

Last night can be written off as a practice run for the main event tonight, but what are your tips for powering through? Maybe I need to stop being so 'responsible' and trying to sleep so I can function at work. My current strategy is zero sleep and survive Tuesday on coffee.

The other day I realised that have I followed giantbomb throughout ever major stage of my education, qualifications, and into the first few years of my career. Every bombcast, goty, E3, quick look etc etc. (Although these days I don't tend to watch the entirety of every quick look)

In comparison my time spent gaming must also be thousands of hours, more during university but a lot less now I'm working. On balance over this entire period I reckon the time spent following giantbomb is probably roughly equal to the time spent gaming!

So I guess my main hobby isn't playing games anymore, it's listening to guys talk about games, or not, as the bombcast is best when on a tangent!

Either way, anyone else out there who finds themself playing games less than listening about them?

@razielcuts: Coincidentally, I'm making a plan of which charts to make about the laundry that will need doing after I have finished wearing my bombcast waiting outfit.

I used to hate my job. There were lots of reasons but It permeated my life to the point that i couldnt enjoy my time off or weekends because I was anxious about work and what would happen when i had to go back. Moral of the story is I let myself stop caring and dedicated every moment i could to apply for different jobs. The months applying were, in some ways, the worst because if i got an interview and then got rejected i felt even worse about my job and propects. In the end I got so sick of it and spent boxing day (the name for the public holiday after christmas in the uk) applying for a job that seemed so perfect i wrote it off before even sending the application. I got that job, and im really happy now obviously im not a weirdo and dont lie in bed looking forward to work!

The reason ive said all this is that if you're creating a thread on a video game website about hating a job, i assume you are pretty miserable. If you can build up the motivation to keep trying for somthing better, youll get there in the end.

Sorry for the bad grammar/typos, its late where i am and im on mobile so cba editing it.

No it can't break the industry, but I was actually about to start a thread of my own on this topic, if this trend continues it should without doubt change the way the industry goes about releasing games. How is it now the norm, or at the least, not surprising to release games broken or with server errors or some sort of bar that prevents enjoying it as intended? IGN have a report that Far Cry 4 has errors aswell now. I think it should be unacceptable, but the problem is that there are no real consequences or the publisher/game dev. Sure a consumer could return the game, but If i had bought Assassins creed I don't want to return it...I want to play it!

Ive played a ton of hearthstone. Ive come to the conclusion that im the worst player! Never spent money, but i believe that the game is balanced so i should win some....right....hopefully!!! I can easily go 0-3 in arena. Its an odd one, i know the rules, i watch tb and see how it can be played, just doesnt work for me. Maybe im too rigid with decks and dont play the game in front of me, maybe im too flexible and dont set up combos. Who knows. Either way got alexstrasa (spelt wrong but cant be arsed to google it) in a pack today so feeling pretty chuffed.
