Dante's Inferno is a great rental. 0

Dante's Inferno is a game that I have many feelings over. Some of those feelings are good, others are simply just not at all. The story starts and finishes strong, though I am a little confused at exactly where the ending finishes or even leads to. The combat in Dante's Inferno is very reminiscent of a God of War type game, in fact, with the addition of Death's Scythe, it is very similar to that of GoW. That being said, one of the differences between GoW and DI is going to be the addi...

What the hell is that!? AAAAAH! 0

Dead Space is a game that grabs you by the Rig suit and pulls you through it's morbid world, never lettings go, and not giving a damn if you make it through or not. Let's first start off with the standard immersion factor of this game's interface design. In one word, it is incredible. The lack of a HUD surprisingly makes the game feel less like a video game and more like an interactive movie. I heard about this feature but gave it no thought, I just didn't think it was that big of a dea...

Quirky, fun, and addictive. 0

I downloaded the game Fat Princess' demo a couple months ago. I didn't really try and understand it, and found it all quite boring. Apparently my daughter got on it and found it to be quite entertaining, so I sat and watched her play for an hour. Over the course of that hour I began to see what in the world I was watching... basically capture the flag with cartoon graphics, zany classes, interesting RTS elements, and feeding a little girl cake to make her fat! Wow, was I shocked when I ...

No guts, no glory. 0

What can I say about Zombie Apocalypse that isn't obvious from its screen shots or videos. This isn't a game that is trying to break through and create a new, and it isn't a game trying to redefine a genre. It is simply a game that takes the standard "throw monsters at you, you run around and shoot with gun" paradigm and does it well enough to keep me coming back off-and-on for that experience for a long time to come. This game truly is what it is, a fun blood and guts blasting romp thro...

Quick, dirty, fun. 0

When I first saw this game, the giant man with a lightning rod and name Deathspank kind of pulled at me. I installed the game and was quickly taken into the world of Deathspank. Though not terribly difficult, this game is fast paced, fun, and highly entertaining. It has it "what the" moments, as well as it's moments that have you in stitches. Some of the dialogs are obvious and have the "see it coming" feel, but most are just plain funny. I rarely scroll through dialogs more than once, ...

Great game, tons of fun, long lasting story. 0

Let's start off by saying, the God of War series is one of the main reasons I went PS3 over XBOX 360. And it delivers in every way! The game play in God of War is hands down the best mix of fun, puzzles, story, and difficulty I have ever played in any action game. It is strategic at times while just plain hack-n-slash at others. Sometimes you can just cut loose and maul down hordes of minions without a second thought to what is going on around you, and other times you have to plan out the...

Better than the first.I recently made comments in my blog about B 0

I recently made comments in my blog about Bioshock 2 not being as immersive or as engaging as the original… I was completely wrong! The game starts slowly; it's a grinding pace to get through the first 2-4 hours of game play. I found the story at that time very dull. O.k., cool, I'm a Big Daddy… what now? I am trying to get to my little sister that is now grown up? It all seemed rather dull, and I had no expectations that this would last me an entire game. It seemed like a weak premise...

Batman: AA, I should have played it sooner! 0

I am very skeptical about superhero games. Most turn out to be bland, boring, and just flat bad. But Batman: Arkham Asylum delivers on all promises made by the company, critic reviewers, and user reviewers. This game is just fun. The story is entirely believable and the amount of immersion is palpable. You really feel like Batman. Let me start out with the little things that make this game so much fun. 1) Batman's costume and face actually degrade over time. I am not sure if this is ba...
