Have you considered taking up Squash or Handball? It might be a better long-term investment in terms of health and getting you a common hobby in the business world. I can't think of that many high-power businessmen stereotypes that include that include "dope mouse clicks" and "lovers of uninteresting lore".

@JCrichton: If you put all your time into looking for a job you won't go crazy, you'll probably get a job though.

@GooieGreen: trust me i do realize that getting a job is the most important thing here. was just trying to stick to talking about games on a video games website. i'm looking everyday and applying for jobs everyday. it will happen

By the way, the reason you wouldn't get this, is currently it's only online DRM. It works with slow connections but if you suffer bad connectivity or your in an area where it's a problem, you won't be able to play it.

Don't. I bought it at one of those small independent game retailers run by a dude more concerned with getting you out of his store after you give him money and he only does well cuz he is hooked up to Japan to get imports from his family or something. But I bought Diablo 3 there and instead got a disc that said DIA3LO :(

You should use 'the decider'. Whenever I need something 'decided' I use 'the decider'. 'The decider' is when you open up ms paint, and draw a cat with your eyes closed. If the tail is attached to the butt when you open your eyes, it's a yes. If the tail is floating, it's a no.

I'm like that too. Surprisingly Tropico 4 has hooked me. I picked it up on steam sale and am pretty impressed. It's had me laughing a few times with the writing too.

I think you buried the lead on this one: you need to get a job. I don't know what state you're in, let alone which area within it, nor the specific economy, your educational background, etc. so I can't tell you "it should be easy". Frankly, everywhere is rough, especially as we are getting into the summer months now. But there are jobs available, but you need to be willing to consider and apply for them.

Check the nonprofits and other smaller venues that you can think of and see what is happening there. Craigslist can be a helpful tool, as well; not just for dirty beds and dirty girl$$$.

I hate this thread/blog because it reflects MY confusion and indecisiveness when it comes to Diablo 3, I so wanna buy it but so don't want to.

my internet is not the most reliable. its dsl from Verizon. best i can do for now, so that is really whats keeping me from getting it. I have games to trade so i can get the credit to get it

I traded in games for it, never had to pay money and got money back.

I'd say find a job. Be able to get some hard earned cash to purchase Diablo III and use the game as a reward.

Wait...are...are you asking whether or not you should get Diablo III? Or...? I'm confused.

Yes I'm one of those guys who is constantly on forums or asking friends or listening to podcasts trying to determine if the next big game or even some old game is the game for me, I still don't have Diablo 3 cause i can't determine if my internet issues are enough to keep from playing a game I am certain I will love. I watched the day one and the day one plus video and part of thursday throwdown but as i said...im that guy. that indecisive guy who wants to play a game but is not sure if he should. I just finished Mass Effect 3 and Starcraft 2 and just want something to well use up my time. I am looking for a job but everyone who is or has been unemployed knows if u put all of ur time into looking for a job and cancel ur social life, gaming and otherwise u will go crazy. That and Torchlight and Skyrim are upsetting me right now. I can't get to where i need to be and its right there.......i know it is. ok....well this is my first and who knows if it will be my last blog post but i am glad i got that off my chest
