This game has made me a masochist (and I love it for that).

A gorgeous game with a decent storyline and engaging multiplayer. Loved the fact that I could mix-and-match "badges" in order to create hybrid classes. Also appreciated the Skirmish mode that let me practice and experiment with AI bots.

Multiplayer is fun (especially with that riot shield), but the singleplayer was too much like a Michael Bay movie for me to care about. Nothing can compare to MW1's nuke plot-twist.

All my friends hated it, but I liked Takahashi's insane, acid-trip world. Oh, read some of his interviews. His responses will make you laugh and think.

I've never played DotA. I hear HoN is a clone. Still, the character designs are pretty good and it looks great for a free, online game. The community will not forgive you for being a beginner though.

Dated graphics and minor issues aside, WotS3 is fun. I can tell the localization team had (too?) much fun with the hilarious translations. Nothing beats beating the shit out of a guy with a leek and then proceeding to kick his lying body.

I haven't picked up Pokemon since Generation II (Gold to be exact). The core aspect hasn't changed, but all the little tweaks and differences from the transition to Gen. IV has made it exciting for me to get back to being the Pokemon master (although some of the Pokemon designs are stupid - see Bidoof).
