It's one of those games that you can play without having to worry about missing story elements or something like that. For being almost ten years old, it's still one of my favorite games to go back to.
Yeah, if you're going to do any kind of gaming stuff on a mac you're probably going to want to boot camp you system. I read on gizmodo that microsoft is going to let students (or people who have an active e-mail address ending with .edu) buy a license for windows 7 for $30. I don't know all of the details, but if you're going to be a student it sounds like the way to go. http://gizmodo.com/5361767/college-students-get-windows-7-for-30
Or you could be like most of us mac users and just play Peggle... Peggle is fun.
Sorry if this is a bummer, but in college most of you're free time is probably going to go towards writing essays, and not playing games. I'm just coming off of a two day (and night) homework fest, thanks to my professors who all have the same due date for their major projects.
Oh, and no Steam for the mac. You can thank Valve for that one...
I don't know why I know this but this actually happened in one of the episodes.
Here's the link to this blasphemous video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdSFHCwlDRw
If the REAL Power Ranger (the ones of the "Mighty" and the "Morphin" variety) and the REAL Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fought, it would be like the end of Rocky 2 with the Turtles winning at the end.
Well you only have to put up with the endurance run for a couple more episodes, I've seen the true ending and they are very close. It shouldn't take more than a few more episodes to wrap everything up. You're just going to have to wait until then.
But seriously, what's so awful about Persona 4? I'm not the kind of person that's way into anime, but the endurance run got me (and more so my brother) legitimately interested in the game. Persona 4 will always be a part of Giant Bomb now, there is no turning back. You're always going to see the endurance run quotes floating around the site, and I can understand how that can be a little annoying to someone who isn't in to the endurance run.
I believe the scientific phrase for this type of situation is "tough noogies."
@Apathylad: Just a fair warning before you sit through those long downloads:
A lot of people really don't like how Metal Gear Online plays. It's not horrible, but Metal Gear is definitely a game that wasn't meant to be multiplayer and it seems like they threw in MGO at the last second. Again, it's not horrible, but just the registration process alone makes it feel more like your filling out your taxes then playing a game. I'm surprised they don't ask for you're social security number in that thing...
All of the MGS games are really great, but just be ready for the biggest mind-fuck ever at the end of MGS 2. Don't worry though, all is explained in MGS 4 (and it actually wraps up pretty nicely too).
