Left 4 Dead is definitely a great game where you can just hang out and chat and have some good times and you pretty much said that in the vid.  You certainly have quite a list of games being played at the moment.  I would do that if I had all the time in the world. 

Hope to play some Brawl with you soon like we were talking about earlier.

I remember that comment you mention. It was on one of my previous blogs. But I have to admit that L4D is a great community game. A blast. It loses a lot when playing it alone. But definately one of a kind.

Gotta love these intoxicated blogs dude.  Was great playing some Left 4 Dead with you over the past couple of weeks, really enjoyable.  I love that game.  As for MGS 4, as you said in the video, get to Act 3 and you'll see.  Don't expect tremendous gameplay though, but the story will blow you away.

"Play it for what it is!" Damn straight son! I wholeheartedly agree. It's easy to compare games to each other, and it's definitely a slippery slope there once you get started (I'm even guilty of comparing games - to a point - in a franchise when reviewing games, mostly in terms of what gameplay mechanics have been retained / changed and so on, but I digress), but I try as best as I humanly can to not let my opinion of a past game impact my opinion of another, or even my opinion on a TV show or something if the game is based on that. I would've missed a lot of great times if I did allow myself to be so biased. Hell, even though I absolutely despise the dolls, that Bratz Super Babyz game for the DS was passable, and even worth a recommendation for younger players. So yeah, rant on brother! I'm with you there!

You got Mirrors Edge right on the money, if it wasnt one singular path through the entire game and you could cruise through and make your own methods of completing puzzles it would have hit game of the year. Unfortunately, the combat slows the whole mechanic down that you just dont feel like there is a fluid movement between each 'puzzle'. Im near the end of Mirrors Edge and stuck on the docks, now its just annoying me so much I havent picked it up in a few weeks.

Left 4 Dead is slowly creeping up the list of games I really need to get. Everyone is playing it at the moment and as you say, it seems like a great community game. Bringing friends together to play the games we love is what its all about!

L4D was awesome. If only there were more people to play with...
