I just bought the PS4 pro as well as God of War after trading in my original PS4 500gb and holy shit does this thing pump out heat. I am sure it has been discussed elsewhere before because this is unnoticeable. Look, this would have been welcome 2-3 weeks ago when it was still winter, but now that we decided to skip Spring and go right for Summer it's almost unbearable in my tiny room. I mean, it has to add at least 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit to my room. Anyone else having this new dilemma with the sudden heat on the northern hemisphere(or at least the US east coast)?

Born in '94 here, I honestly just think my parents were kinda outta the loop on new media at the time. I.e. not allowing me to watch the Simpsons when I was like 8, me playing GTA at a friends house and them founding out felt like if they found out I did meth, having to have my dad buy me the M rated games secretly. I don't blame them, they were raising 3 children and working to support us so all they saw were the hyper-sensationalized news reports of the late 90's/early-mid 2000's of video games and movies corrupting the youth. But they, as most parents do, eased up over time; still sticking to their conventions until some time when I was around when I was 12-13, putting up the false fight just so they could tell themselves they tried. Ultimately, especially today, kids will be exposed to the stuff.

I know it's an obvious nitpick but one that I can't get out of my head since watching the Half in the Bag Review of the film; but has anyone addressed why it took Thanos this long to active his plan? I mean he took the reality stone(I think?) from the the Collector like it was a cake walk with the one Stone he's had forever, and he was fucking shit up with two stones. Why didn't he do that sooner? Obviously, the other stones would require more strategic timing so I get the logic there. I guess my issue ultimately lies with how easy it was for him to get the reality stone(again correct me if I'm wrong). Other than that ,pretty solid film and I like @twoarmed's theory of the current living making some kind of permanent switch with the current faded.

Yeah, I tried out resolution over frame rate and immediately had to switch back to performance mode for the FPS. It does noticeably dip in combat and big cinematic moments, but I am more than willing to accept that; given that the game has an ample amount of down time where the 60 FPS truly shines.
