The NXL guys almost NEVER mention Jeff. That's weird to me.

Jeff won't even say the words Giant Bomb. That speaks to acrimony.

After 14 years of being a dedicated fan of this site, I'd like to know a little more about what happened.

In this new age of transparency, a lot seem to be hidden right now.

Anyone know if there's been any developments/updates?

@therealturk: Having been though a few business mergers/sales, this seems mostly right. It's about business profitability. On the books, CBSi needs to reach a specific EBITDA (profitability) to meet the terms of the deal, and if they can't bring in new money on the front end, they can get there on the back end. These types of layoffs are bloodbaths because all that matters is that they hit the number to make the deal.

 I'm gonna play this, and for the 360, because that's what I own and because I don't have any loyalty to a particular system anymore. I'm a huge fan of FF, and by huge fan know there are some to be skipped (X-2, XI, XII, etc.). They've put a ridiculous amount of time into this one, so I can't wait. 
 
And the theme songs always suck, so who cares. The in-game music always shines.
