Games I've PWNED

No Caption Provided
This is a list of every game i have beaten. Now, seeing as how I have gamed since I was a wee one it may take me a while to completely compile the list(which may never happen). However, I will, to the best of my ability, try to notate every game in memory that I DESTROYED.

List items

  • The best Resident Evil period. After being wowed by the remake and the heavily delayed Zero(originally aimed for a N64 DD release) this one came out of left field. To this day, the graphics and gameplay is what true gaming is all about.

  • Resident Evil was a series I grew up with as a child. Unlike many series, this one impresses more and more with each new release. Admittedly, 4 was the pinnacle but this game was superb from a production standpoint. I mean, come on, you get to finally fight Wesker in an epic battle in an active volcano summit while a movie-quality symphony scores the entire fight. Definite winner.

  • This was the first game i bought on my PS2. Of course, I got it because it was a Kojima production. The graphics were great and just flying around in an acrobatic mech was pure fun. The only downside was that it took a measly 5 hours to beat. If I pay 50 bucks for a game it damn well better be more than a few hours of gameplay(there weren't even any extras aside from the MGS2 demo).

  • Hands down one of my favorite, if not the best game of all time. Although the story was nonexistent and the voice acting was worse than B-movie quality, it was one hell of a game to play. I'm a movie buff, so the fact that each level takes place inside a movie i.e. "The Homerun of Death" was fantastic. In that aspect, you get six storylines for each movie you play. And the GORE! This is the most ridiculously bloody game ever released. Yes, the most RIDICULOUS. There is one part where you have to jump consecutively over a thorny jumprope that two evil dolls are turning and if one teeny, weeny thorn touches you, blood GUSHES and SQUIRTS all over the place. Talk about excessive. This was a game from a promising company haunted by financial problems. After multiple name changes, from Climax to Crazy Games and the merging with Cavia, Blue Stinger/Illbleed creator Shinya Nishigaki died of a heart attack. He is one of my favorite creators and a legend that won't be forgotten.

  • Gouichi Suda.....man, myth, or legend? How about all three. He created one of the most innovated gamecube titles to ever be released. I first gave the game a test run and hated it for its hybrid third-person/first-person on-rail gameplay. Upon further inspection after watching a killer spot for it on G4 I purchased it and LOVED IT. So what if you have to hold down a button to go straight down a given track and have to select your direction at every intersection you get to? The story, characters and visuals are so over the top that the gameplay kinda works for it. Everything about this game seems weird, random, but somehow cool. If you like Luchadores, excessive, yet unnecessary cursing, enemies exploding into tiny spheres of hemoglobin that you collect, good looking anime cutscenes that tell certain stories, and maniacal boss battles then this game is for you.

  • Speaking of Suda51, it was only natural that I got my panties in a bunch when his follow-up was released(not discrediting Contact or Michigan:The Report From Hell). The guy's absurdity and disregard for taboo is his genius. Now, you play an assassin fighting for the rank of number one for....a prude, French chick? The mini-missions were fun, but hard to get through since I was always anticipating the next boss battle. This game is a no frills ultra-violent romp with an anime feel and PUNK aesthetic.

  • Bethesda made me a believer with Morrowind, which to this day I have never beaten(thanks to hard drive failures and multiple restarts). I played this game first on my friend's 360 then bought it for myself a year later. Hands down, it is one of the realistic looking and expansive RPGs I've played. This is a game that you can play over and over. You can kill innocents, steal anything you want if you're willing to fight/go to jail for it, join multiple guilds, go cave dwelling on a whim or just do whatever you please really. The possibilities are limitless in this timeless classic.

  • This was the second game i OWND on PS2. I really looked forward to playing it, as i do with most all survival-horror(especially by CAPCOM) and I gotta admit, the concept of survival-horror in feudal Japan was intriguing. The dead samurai were cool and the environments were amazing. This was a fun game that I will fondly remember.

  • I have played and beaten every game in the franchise but this one is by far the best and also the most immersive, rewarding survival-horror game I've played. The story, albeit creepy will hook you and the atmosphere is as scary as it gets. I had this on PC so the graphics were mind-blowing at the time, especially the lighting effects. I played it straight through in one day and missed it the second it was over, that's how good it was. If you get a chance to play this game, pay close attention to the hauntingly, beautiful score. Own the game and the OST.
